The Yuh Table Lamp, designed by the Danish-Italian duo GamFratesi for Louis Poulsen in 2017, offers a versatile and functional lighting solution with a minimalistic design. The lamp’s geometric form is defined by the movement of its shade, which can rotate, rise, and lower, providing flexibility in directing light exactly where it is needed. Available in two finishes, white with a marble base in Italian Carrara, and black with Nero Marquina marble.
The lamp is fitted with built-in LED technology, ensuring a high-quality, glare-free downward light. The angle of the shade can be adjusted to optimise light distribution, while a small opening at the top provides soft, ambient upward illumination. The mechanical system allows for easy adjustment, making it suitable for use in various settings, such as workspaces or living areas. With stepless dimming between 15% and 100%, and a timer function that can automatically switch off the light after 4 or 8 hours, the Yuh Table Lamp is designed to be both practical and energy-efficient. A button located at the top of the stem functions as both the switch and dimmer, adding to the lamp’s intuitive usability. The lamp also allows for the setting of a fixed light level when turned on.
