The Panthella 250 Table Lamp, designed by Verner Panton, offers soft, glare-free illumination with adjustable dimming and a timer function, available in a range of finishes for a modern, versatile design.
The Panthella 250: Table Lamp, designed by Verner Panton in 1971, is a scaled-down version of the original Panthella lamp, combining the same functional design with a more compact form. The lamp is characterised by its organic shape, with both the shade and base serving as reflectors to create soft, glare-free light. The opaque shade directs light downward, and the white-painted interior helps ensure a balanced, pleasant illumination. The opal shade versions provide a subtler, diffused light, with the material’s transparency and reflective inner surface creating a calm, ambient glow.
Made from deep-drawn steel for the shade and aluminium for the base, the Panthella 250 Table Lamp combines durability with a clean, modern look. It comes with a 2.5-metre black plastic cord and a switch for stepless dimming, allowing you to adjust the brightness from 15% to 100%. The integrated LED light source is energy-efficient and powered by an external driver with a plug.
The lamp also features a timer function, allowing it to switch off automatically after 4 or 8 hours, and can be set to turn on at a specific brightness level. With various finishes available, the Panthella 250 Table Lamp is a versatile lighting option for smaller spaces, such as window sills, shelves, or tables, offering both style and practicality.
