The Ktribe F3: Outdoor Floor Lamp, designed by Philippe Starck in 2007, is a versatile lighting solution made for outdoor use. It features a die-cast aluminium base and pole support, both treated with a chemical conversion process to enhance their resistance to outdoor elements. The lamp is equipped with an injection-moulded polycarbonate internal diffuser and bulb-holder, providing diffused light that creates a soft and inviting atmosphere.
The external diffuser is crafted from braided, coloured PVC tubes with an inner frame made from polyester-painted aluminium tubes, finished in Green Wall. The base and pole are finished in chrome, adding a contemporary touch to its design. A steel counterweight, treated with cataphoresis for enhanced weather resistance, ensures the lamp’s stability in various conditions. The painted die-cast aluminium external diffuser cover further reinforces its durability. The Ktribe F3: Outdoor Floor Lamp combines both functionality and resilience, designed to withstand the challenges of outdoor environments.
