The Flindt: Wall Light, designed by Christian Flindt, is part of the broader Flindt lighting series and continues the distinctive language established with the original bollard version. Its form is defined by a circular carved-out shape that creates a soft interplay of concave and convex surfaces. Mounted slightly away from the wall, the lamp appears to float, adding a sense of lightness to its sculptural silhouette.
The light source is discreetly placed at the top of the cut-out, casting glare-free, downward-facing illumination. A gentle wash of light follows the interior curve of the fixture, while also providing adequate, asymmetric illumination on the surrounding surface below. The subtle light ring that emerges where the form transitions from concave to convex adds layer of visual depth.
The Flindt: Wall Light is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, and is available in three sizes to accommodate a variety of applications. This model is Ø300 and available in different finishes, allowing for versatile integration into a range of environments. Developed using a combination of digital modelling, 3D printing, and metal casting, the final form reflects a carefully refined balance between geometry, proportion, and light distribution.
