Description
The Eva Table Lamp, designed by Francesca Borelli in 2017, explores the relationship between light, form, and movement. The lamp features a black spherical metal body with an LED light source, partially enclosed by a movable circular surface that adjusts to control light emission. This shifting cover creates an eclipse-like effect, revealing or concealing the gold leaf interior. The lamp is supported by a slim cylindrical base, while a telescopic stem allows for further adjustment, offering both flexibility and a sculptural presence.

About Oluce
Founded in 1945 by Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce is Italy’s oldest lighting design company, renowned for transforming light into form through expert craftsmanship and technological innovation. The brand first gained international recognition at the IX Triennale in 1951, with Franco Buzzi’s Luminator, followed by Tito Agnoli’s acclaimed designs in the Compasso d’Oro awards. Collaborations with legendary designers such as Joe Colombo, who created icons like the Acrilica and Coupé lamps, cemented Oluce’s place in design history. In the 1970s, under the Verderi family’s ownership and with Vico Magistretti as art director, Oluce produced enduring masterpieces, including the iconic Atollo, which won the 1979 Compasso d’Oro and became a global design symbol.
Today, Oluce continues to define modern lighting with its unique blend of heritage and innovation. The brand’s portfolio features designs by visionaries such as Nendo, Carlo Colombo, and Victor Vasilev, reflecting a commitment to both timeless elegance and contemporary experimentation. With a legacy spanning nearly 80 years, Oluce remains a beacon of Italian design, illuminating interiors with artistry, innovation, and enduring sophistication. Browse the Oluce Collection
