Description

Defined by a tall silhouette and poised proportions, Bottles: H90 belongs to the Bottles collection—a series of sculptures whose quiet gestures and subtle asymmetries create a sense of harmony when displayed together. While each sculpture is individually made, they share a common rhythm of form, balance, and restraint that gives the collection its contemplative presence.

This sculpture stands 90 cm tall and is crafted entirely by hand from paper clay, a distinctive material developed by Paola Paronetto that combines traditional ceramic clay with paper pulp. The result is a structure that feels tactile and lightweight in appearance while remaining firmly built—its nuanced texture and gentle irregularities expressing the artisanal process behind its making.

Available in a selection of colours and offered in two textured finishes—corteccia, with fine ridges reminiscent of bark or delicate petals, and cartoccio, with a softly pleated surface akin to crumpled paper—this piece reflects natural forms and highlights the artisanal quality of the work.

Each of the Bottles: H90 is unique, shaped and coloured by hand, with subtle differences. Whether presented on its own or among others from the collection, this piece holds quiet strength through its refined proportions and thoughtful design.
