Description

The Alba Suspension Light with double globes, designed by Mariana Pellegrino Soto, takes inspiration from the organic form of a water droplet. The pendant features two opaline blown-glass globes that emit a soft, diffused light, suspended from a metal structure with a satin brass finish. The design balances fluid, rounded shapes with clean, geometric lines, creating a contrast between natural and structured elements. The staggered arms extend from the central suspension, positioning the glass globes at different heights for a dynamic lighting effect. Fitted with an E27 socket, the light accommodates two bulbs of up to 75W each. The Alba Suspension Light is supplied with a ceiling cable that seamlessly integrates into the structure, ensuring a balanced and cohesive appearance.

About Oluce

Founded in 1945 by Giuseppe Ostuni, Oluce is Italy’s oldest lighting design company, renowned for transforming light into form through expert craftsmanship and technological innovation. The brand first gained international recognition at the IX Triennale in 1951, with Franco Buzzi’s Luminator, followed by Tito Agnoli’s acclaimed designs in the Compasso d’Oro awards. Collaborations with legendary designers such as Joe Colombo, who created icons like the Acrilica and Coupé lamps, cemented Oluce’s place in design history. In the 1970s, under the Verderi family’s ownership and with Vico Magistretti as art director, Oluce produced enduring masterpieces, including the iconic Atollo, which won the 1979 Compasso d’Oro and became a global design symbol.

Today, Oluce continues to define modern lighting with its unique blend of heritage and innovation. The brand’s portfolio features designs by visionaries such as Nendo, Carlo Colombo, and Victor Vasilev, reflecting a commitment to both timeless elegance and contemporary experimentation. With a legacy spanning nearly 80 years, Oluce remains a beacon of Italian design, illuminating interiors with artistry, innovation, and enduring sophistication. Browse the Oluce Collection
