The Saarinen Dining Table, often referred to as the Pedestal Table, is a masterpiece of modern design, created by the visionary architect Eero Saarinen. Introduced in 1956 and featured in a Time magazine cover story, Saarinen designed this table with a singular goal: to “clear up the slum of legs in the U.S. home.” The table features a beautifully sculpted cast-aluminium base that exemplifies Saarinen’s talent for creating expressive, sculptural forms.
