Hermelin Biliardi is a long story of passion, inspiration, love for craftsmanship, care for materials and hard work: behind every single billiard table lies the skill and dedication of our artisans' hands.
Hermelin was founded in 1825 in Milan by Rinaldo Hermelin, a business owner from Milan. His passion for craftsmanship and for the ancient and noble game of billiards inspired him to create an artisan workshop. It began with a classic model of a professional pool table, but the process evolved from producing just billiard tables to a collection of furniture. The high quality of the handmade pool tables was immediately apparent.
For this reason, Hermelin continued to grow and spread to all exclusive locations in Milan. Over the years, the tiny artisan workshop developed into a successful company, exporting Made in Italy billiard tables all over the world, without losing the authenticity of family business management. Hermelin Biliardi preserved the craftsmanship passed down from the founder, creating pool tables entirely by hand. This skill – together with the high quality of materials, attention to detail, and uniqueness of the products – became the signature of the brand.
In 2003, Hermelin's employees took over the business and moved from Milan to the hinterland, adding to the historical production of pool tables the creation of game tables and luxury furniture, in response to customer demand. In 2020, it embarked on a major and essential rebranding campaign, where the oldest and deepest Hermelin values met the most advanced communication techniques, creating a perfect blend of craft tradition and innovation. With almost 200 years of experience and a growing international reputation for originality, creativity and quality, Hermelin Biliardi represents one of the most inspired Italian pool table companies.
