Livingspace, global leader in luxury home design unveils 30,000-square-foot showroom, celebrating 30 years of business that May with the grand reveal of a $2-million expansion and renovation.
Founded in a 1930’s-era printing factory in the Armoury District of Vancouver, Livingspace has added the fifth floor into its showroom, which features an abrupt rooftop garden courtyard and brings the store’s footprint into an impressive 30,000 square feet. The new degree showcases the Italian brand Molteni&C|Dada offering a more refined and intimate encounter as you proceed through the space with individual room-like settings revealing the latest in kitchens, cabinets and furniture.
The over 300 sq. m of the brand new Molteni&C|Dada space grows at the top level. It’s inspired by the architecture of a family mansion. Distinguishing components of the space include the transparencies created by enormous windows, a signature feature of the Belgian designer and an established part of Molteni&C|Dada’s coordinated image, along with the solid walnut beams. Living areas converse with dining areas and open onto a spacious and visually impressive VVD kitchen.
The night-time area features the Gliss Master set in various finishes and compositions. The space is defined by alternating quantities and peaks while an interplay of lights and colors defines the various chambers.
