glass design

The modular 505 system, one of the “blockbusters” of the Molteni&C collection, is constantly evolving, with innovative features that refresh and broaden its infinite uses. A new glass design door complete with a handle built into the metal profile in the standard finishes.

Slim glass partitions to be positioned rationally on the load-bearing shelves to separate books and ornaments so that they are easy to see and enjoy.

An innovative system of projecting doors, Hide, in wood or lacquered finishes, designed to be hooked to the vertical frame at will, in order to give the façade a fresh look with surfaces completely independent from the overall design.

The brand new Molteni&C|Dada space grows at road level with broad store windows. It’s inspired by the architecture of a family mansion. Distinguishing components of the space include the transparencies created by enormous windows, glass design a signature feature of the Belgian designer and an established part of Molteni&C|Dada’s coordinated image. Living areas converse with dining areas and open onto a spacious and visually striking VVD kitchen. The night-time area features the Gliss Master set in various finishes and compositions. The space is characterized by alternating volumes and heights while an interplay of lighting, colors, and large greenhouses define the various rooms.

The newest space showcases a few of the latest Molteni&C|Dada collections by Vincent Van Duysen, the creative director of the 2 brands, as well as objects by Gio Ponti, Rodolfo Dordoni, Foster+Partners, Ron Gilad, Francesco Meda, Dante Bonuccelli and Nicola Gallizia.
