Flos partners with Michael Anastassiades and admired Greek art institution to prompt a dialog between design, art and everyday life.
Flos is partnering with the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens for an exclusive installment of Arrangements, made by Michael Anastassiades. Curated by Afroditi Gonou & Atalanti Martinou, together with assistance from premier design merchant and Flos’ local distributor Deloudis, the project fills the museum’s foyer and Cycladic Cafè with impressive compositions of geometric lighting sculptures.
A lecture on the topic of’ Working with Light’, by Michael, is scheduled on Thursday 17th January in the Cycladic Auditorium. The Cycladic Café Art Project a part of the museum’s Contemporary Art Programme, which brings together social gathering venues and art. With the ultimate goal of embracing the international modern art scene, the Museum presents works by internationally acclaimed and emerging musicians, correlated with actions and its current exhibitions, at the Cycladic Café. The Cycladic Café Art Project prompts the dialog between art and everyday life.
