B&B Italia Group takes part in the third Salone del Mobile Milano.Shanghai with an exhibition space of over 150 sqm presenting the 2018 B&B Italia and Maxalto news, along with other furniture of the collections furnishings for the living and night areas. In line with the visual identity of the retail projects currently being developed by the company for the Asian market, the layout reflects the design and brand identity of B&B Italia and Maxalto, while underscoring those aesthetic elements that are particularly akin to the Asian world.
The exhibition also presents the Arclinea Italia kitchen, designed by Antonio Citterio. Italia, celebrating 30 years this year, shows important instrumental solutions, new internal equipment, unique materials and finishes, in a kitchen environment that represents the most current collection, with a functional island entirely in stainless steel, wall of tall units equipped with doors in fumé oak wood, and Convivium hood. The spaces are defined by correct use of tools and perfect layout of functions. The design approach meets today’s needs and embraces careful study of changing needs in terms of performance. New attention is paid to details, finishes and materials: recessed worktops in stainless steel and central accessorized channel, hob with pan supports in cast iron, and built-in waste bin. Wooden chopping boards and grids in PaperStone® slide to provide extra workspace when and where necessary.
The presence of B&B Italia Group at the Shanghai exhibition highlights the importance of the Chinese market in the field of contemporary furniture design, and reflects the growing interest of Chinese consumers for Italian excellence.
